　　每年農歷七月初七這一天是我國漢族的傳統節日七夕節。因為此日活動的主要參與者是少女，而節日活動的內容又是以乞巧為主，故而人們稱這天為“乞巧節”或“少女節”、“女兒節”。七夕節是我國傳統節日中最具浪漫色彩的一個節日，也是過去姑娘們最為重視的日子。在這一天晚上，婦女們穿針乞巧，祈禱福祿壽活動，禮拜七姐，儀式虔誠而隆重，陳列花果、女紅，各式家具、用具都精美小巧、惹人喜愛。2006年5月20日，七夕節被國務院列入第一批國家非物質文化遺產名錄。現又被認為是“中國情人節”。
