賽龍舟

賽龍舟，是端午節的主要習俗。相傳古時楚國人因舍不得賢臣屈原投江死去，劃船追趕拯救。他們爭先恐后，追至洞庭湖時不見蹤跡。之后每年五月五日劃龍舟以紀念之。借劃龍舟驅散江中之魚，以免魚吃掉屈原的身體。競渡之習，盛行于吳、越、楚。

吃粽子

荊楚之人在五月五日煮糯米飯或蒸粽糕投入江中， 以祭祀屈原，為恐魚吃掉，故用竹筒盛裝糯米飯擲下，以后漸用粽葉包米代替竹筒。

驅五毒

古人將蛇、蝎、壁虎、蜈蚣、蟾蜍等稱為五毒。民謠說："端午節，天氣熱，五毒醒，不安寧。"每到端午節，人們用彩色紙把五毒剪成剪紙，或貼在門、窗、墻、炕上，或系在兒童的手臂上，以避諸毒。

飲雄黃酒

雄黃本屬礦物，含有三硫化砷成分，與酒混合，即成雄黃酒，用以驅蟲解五毒。小兒涂于頭、額、耳、鼻、手、足心，并灑墻壁問，以法諸毒。民間俗語有"飲了雄黃酒，百病都遠走"。

懸艾葉菖蒲

民諺說："清明插柳，端午插艾"。在端午節，家家都灑掃庭除，以菖蒲、艾條插于門眉，懸于堂中。并用菖蒲、艾葉、榴花、蒜頭、龍船花，制成人形或虎形，稱為艾人、艾虎;制成花環、佩飾，美麗芬芳，婦人爭相佩戴，用以驅瘴。

鐘馗捉鬼，是端午節習俗，在江淮地區，家家懸鐘馗像，用以鎮宅驅邪。

佩香囊

端午節小孩佩香囊，傳說有避邪驅瘟之意，實際是用于襟頭點綴裝飾。香囊內有朱砂、雄黃、香藥，外包以絲布，清香四溢，再以五色絲線弦扣成索，作各種不同形狀，結成一串，形形色色，玲瓏可愛。

端午節有許多的習俗，如吃棕子、賽龍舟等。在我媽媽的故鄉三明就有一種“插茱萸”的習俗。

茱萸是一種草，它細細長長的，又是綠油油的。每到端午節，當地的老人們就會在自家的每一個門的兩旁都插上一?茱萸，以求神靈保佑平安。

有一次端午節，我們一家人回到了三明。那天，我第一次看到外公、外婆插茱萸。只見外公搬來一節長梯，在門的旁邊(門框前)架好，然后小心翼翼地拿出一?茱萸草，拜了拜天，口里念念有詞，然后慢慢地爬上梯子。最后，外公仔細找這門邊的裂縫，等到找到了裂縫之后，再把那一?茱萸草插上去，然后下來。

我們和外公在遠處得意洋洋望著大大小小的門上被我們用心插上的茱萸。微風徐徐吹過，門旁的茱萸在微風中輕輕搖擺著身體，好像笑這對我們說“放心吧!我一定回保佑大家平安的!”

這就是我的家鄉的端午節習俗之一插茱萸。但是，隨這時代的進步，越來越少人會要想要插茱了。

所以，我向大家提議：大家要保持這種習俗把古老又悠久的習俗一代又一代地傳下去。

今天是端午節，是我國最傳統、最古老的節日。我們小區到處喜氣洋洋，一派節日的氣氛。

端午節有許多習俗，比如：劃龍船、吃粽子、系五絲線等等。當然，我媽媽在太陽出來之前已經把五絲線系在了我的手腕和腳脖上了。聽媽媽說，五絲繩也叫長命縷，是爸爸、媽媽希望孩子能長命百歲，多么美好的期望啊!

晚上，媽媽買回來一包粽子。粽子用竹葉包裹著，仿佛一個個綠娃娃似的，老遠就聞到一股甘甜的清香沁入肺腑。剝開竹葉咬一口，糯米發紅，再咬一口，香甜潤滑，真是又香又甜，好吃極了!一邊吃著粽子，我一邊想起了屈原這個歷史人物。當年屈原因被小人出賣，含冤投江自殺。當地百姓去汨羅江打撈尸體也沒成功，就向汨羅江中扔了雞蛋和熟米。據說這樣魚蝦吃飽了就不會去吃屈原的尸體。

媽媽還熬了草莓湯，紅紅的草莓襯著那濃濃的湯，真是一道美味呀!

今年的端午節，我們過得很開心。
