　　Nowadays,many families have a dog or a cat as a pet. Some people think that pets aregood and helpful companies. Some of them even go so far as saying that animalsare as good as humans, and their rights should be respected .Senior citizensare especially fond of keeping pet because they are always feeling lonely athome and they see the cats or dogs as their partner.

　　現如今，很多家庭都養有寵物狗或寵物貓。有的人認為寵物是很好的伙伴，甚至有人說動物和人類一樣，也需要被尊重。老人特別喜歡養寵物，因為他們待在家里，比較容易感覺到寂寞，他們把寵物當做自己的伙伴。

　　Butsome other people do not like pets. They say that animals are noisy, dirty anddangerous. They think laws should be made to forbid people from keeping pets incities and towns.

　　但有的人卻不喜歡寵物，他們認為動物吵鬧、骯臟并且危險，提議制定相關禁止在城鎮養寵物的法律。

　　Inmy opinion, pets are loyal friends that will never betray us. Staying withpets, we shall enjoy happiness and feel relaxed. Most important of all, keepingpets helps people to reduce loneliness and forget their unpleasant things forthe time being.

　　我認為寵物是我們的朋友，不會背叛我們。和寵物待在一起，我們能感受到快樂和放松。最重要的是，養寵物能減少寂寞，也能暫時忘記不愉快的事情。
